Investor Group Services (IGS) is a consulting firm that provides strategic market insight for private equity and corporate clients. Our team, comprised of full-time professionals from leading undergraduate and MBA programs, works toward the common goal of providing exceptional service to our clients. IGS seeks to facilitate this through fostering a vibrant and engaging work environment as stated in our firm values. IGS has delivered projects across a variety of industries to our clients.

Our lineage is rooted in classic strategic management consulting. IGS, which began in 1996 as a specialized practice area within a nationally recognized strategic consulting firm, was founded in 1998. The global professional services firm of Ernst & Young LLP (E&Y) made a control investment in IGS in 2000 to increase the breadth of its transaction service offerings and subsequently acquired full ownership of the firm in 2003. In 2006, the management team of IGS bought the company from Ernst & Young LLP in order to better serve the needs of its clients as an independent consulting firm.

Our management team is comprised of professionals with backgrounds in strategic management consulting, public accounting, and private equity. They lead teams of consultants on projects that usually span a four to six week timeframe.
